CREATE SUCCESS PROGRAM

Create Success is an After School and Summer Program that actually works. The Create Success Program is the only multi-service, educational program of its kind in Sunset Park.

Create Success is fast becoming a model sought after by other agencies for their own after school program sites. In Create Success, a high priority is placed on student’s academic success.  The program offers intense tutoring and personal homework help on a daily basis.

It is this connection with the student that allows us the open door to provide them with counseling, advocacy within the social systems (school and court), age-appropriate group and individual mentoring, family mediation, creative and performing arts, and sports and recreational activities.

Our goals are:

• To close the academic skills gap;
  
• To displace the poverty mentality;
  
• To provide the support and resources needed to help each child and youth complete their education and enter the workplace;
  
• To address the social issues that discourage and hinder a child from focusing on their education
